Lucerna is a Bible study companion that provides scholarly research reports on Bible chapters, including historical context, theological commentary, original language word studies, and connected passages. Lucerna is operated by Lucerna (contact: lucernabible@gmail.com).

You must be at least 13 years old to use Lucerna. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to notify us promptly at lucernabible@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Lucerna offers the following paid subscription plans:

• Basic Monthly: $4.99 per month, 25 searches per month
• Basic Yearly: $39.99 per year, 300 searches per year
• Pro Monthly: $9.99 per month, 100 searches per month
• Pro Yearly: $99.99 per year, unlimited searches

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing you authorize Lucerna to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars and subject to applicable taxes.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at lucernabible@gmail.com within 30 days of the charge.

Lucerna may issue access codes that grant free or discounted access. Access codes are non-transferable, may not be sold or shared publicly, and may be revoked at any time at our discretion.

The research reports generated by Lucerna are produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence and are intended for educational and devotional purposes only. While we strive for accuracy and theological depth, Lucerna does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any generated content. Content should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional theological, pastoral, or academic guidance.

The Lucerna name, logo, design, and original content are the property of Lucerna. The AI-generated research reports are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell any content generated by Lucerna without written permission.

You agree not to:

• Use Lucerna for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from Lucerna
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to circumvent any paywall, access control, or billing system
• Use Lucerna to generate content for commercial resale

Lucerna is provided as is and as available without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lucerna shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the Last updated date above. Continued use of Lucerna after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
